January 10th

We had a great first week of January! It did not take your children long to get right back into our routine. I could not be prouder of them! I love their enthusiasm and the way they laugh. They sure make  my job easy!

These are some highlights from our week:

Mrs. Richards shared her knowledge of moose and their antlers with us on Tuesday. We all learned a lot and it was so exciting to have a quest share in our classroom. Mrs. Richard sure knows a lot about moose. Second graders also had fun guessing their weight...one set weighed 13 lbs. and one weighed 14 lbs.

We started our science unit this week. We had fun making mountains and rivers out of paper, markers, and water. 

We had some pretty cute twins in our room this week!
