Here are a few pictures I have taken:
This is Daphne making a snowman. It was a beautiful spring snow!

Luke and Daphne live in my neighborhood so we visited(6ft. apart) one day while we were all outside. It was so great to see them.

Daphne made this great sign, "I love School", so I could see it from my porch!

SCHEDULE IDEA

The only reason I am even giving out a “schedule with times” is because I had a couple of people ask for it. Please, do what you feel works. I am giving LOTS of ideas. I will also be available through email, text or blog for help. I want you to do what works for your family in this crazy time. It is important for the kids to keep reading, writing and doing math. How and when you fit it in is up to you. Take this time to create some wonderful family memories. Kids LOVE games, books and family time.

8:00 Go over the schedule for the day.
8:15 Story - read to your child.
8:30 Reading Workshop - at least ½ hour of epic or a book of their own - Your child should read aloud each story after they listen to it. Then they can answer the questions that go with the story. The next 20-30 minutes are a choice of: Lalilo, Epic, IXL or books you have at home. No videos on Epic. They can pick from listen to story or read themselves.
9:30 snack break (eat and play)
10:00 Outside time - go for a walk, play in backyard, clean up yard, run around and get fresh air!
10:30 Writing Workshop - Pick from Writing Ideas Page.
11:15 Outside Time - go for a walk, play in backyard, clean up yard, run around and get fresh air!
12:00 Lunch
12:30 Math - ½ hour of IXL math -  ½ hour Prodigy - please have them ask you for help if they do not understand concept so they can learn how to solve problem. Prodigy is usually my last choice for math, but it is a fun break.
