I hope you have enjoyed your holidays and vacation! I had a wonderful break spending time with my family. I also enjoy starting fresh in January!

Just a quick update for this week:

*reading logs...remember they are for Monday to Monday(except this week) 95 minutes of reading :)

*Progress Notes...I will start weekly progress notes this week. I feel like this will help open communication!

*We will be practicing our musical in full force this week. Our play will be Jan. 20th. Please mark your calendars! The kids are so excited.

*Spelling: We will continue with spelling tests and dictations on Fridays. I will also be adding some spelling homework on occasion.

This week we will start a science unit on the Processes and Impacts of Natural Disasters. We will revisit our unit on, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. January also brings lots more writing, research, poetry, and reading!

I am looking forward to seeing all my third graders tomorrow!
