Happy Spring!!

I am sorry this post has taken so long...life has been a bit crazy in the Humphrey house. 

We have been VERY busy in third grade. MEA's are done...wow that is a relief. 

We have finished our unit on explorers. I wanted to share our progress and finished product!
Third graders were assigned an explorer to research. They were so excited about this project!

 

First we paper prepared our globes...messy and fun! They dried and we had a blast painting them.

After the globes dried third graders painted on the continents! This was tricky and luckily we had lots of great help in our room! Ms. Lauren is helping with research and continent placement. They also had to find the route their explorer took and paint it on the globe.

This is our finished product. I am so very proud of my third graders. As you can see they also researched and put a small report together! If you have time drop by and check them out!
