Just a reminder that tomorrow is Grinch Day. Tuesday is pancake day and Wednesday we will have a special treat and some fun!

 

December 10

Second grade is definitely filled with holiday excitement!

I love this time of year. I love to hear and see how excited they are for the holidays and the SNOW!

We are doing holiday traditions from other parts of the world for December.

Last week we learned about Saint Lucia day and how they celebrate in Sweden. Second graders are great cooks! We made St. Lucia day cookies and then made St. Lucia and a Star Boy.

One of our second grade friends found a tiny fur tree and insisted it needed some holiday cheer. 

Next week we will learn about Mexican traditions and Kwanza. 

The week of December 20:

We will celebrate USA style.

*There will be NO homework until after the holidays!
