February 25th

I hope you have all had a wonderful vacation!
Sorry I have taken so long to post pictures of our last week of school. We moved our daughter to Portland and my dad has been in the hospital...phew...busy week! It was nice to be home to help my family!

I just wanted to update you on some of the things we will be doing next...
Our next social studies unit will be on explorers.
We will be working on informational writing.
We will start new books in our guided reading groups.

We will be taking a break from the reading logs at this time. Please continue to encourage your child to read every night. Also, look out for reading homework a few times a week.

Remember we do have a dictation every Friday with their vocabulary words!

Here are some pictures of our week before vacation:

In the Intermediate Team had fun making their Valentine's Day bags, eating, and playing board games!

Third grade book projects and presentation!
So very proud of all of them!
